is a third generation family owned business and has been operating for over 57 years. Located in Central Virginia, Powell's is the parent company to Powell's Idealease and Truck Body Company and employees a total of 70 employees. Powell's Truck & Equipment Inc. is a full service International and Isuzu truck dealer offering a premiere selection of new trucks and a wide variety of pre-owned trucks.
Leasing - The formation of Powell’s Idealease, LLC occurred in 2001 and is the rental and leasing arm of Powell’s Truck. Idealease provides daily and weekly rentals along with short and long-term leasing for commercial customers.
Service - Our Service department is staffed with ASE certified and factory trained technicians. Services range from preventative maintenance, DOT inspections to computerized engine and transmission diagnosis and repairs for all makes and models. Our mobile repair truck is another value added service that we provide.
Parts - Our parts department offers premium parts and maintains stock levels to satisfy our over the counter customers as well as our service department. Two full-time outside parts salesman service over 150 accounts in our dealer region. In addition, we provide a value added daily delivery service with a 100 mile radius.
